In a potential interview, Vitalik Buterin, who is a programmer by profession, has announced that if someone can fix the congestion problem for Ethereum, then it has to be Ethereum itself. According to the esteemed programmer, simple solutions have to be the Ethereum Rollups where simple domains merge and sidechains are created.
These sidechains can be used to process and then build the transactions back towards the main neural net of Ethereum. It is a simple solution but requires tons of efficiency if it has to be pulled in a productive manner. According to Vitalik, it has to be the L2 solution, which will increase the overall efficiency of Ethereum up to 100x.
Best Solution
Many people might not get that at the start, but if you allocate your energy and part of your processing to it, it is quite esteemed. What will happen is that during the rollups, when various domains are merged, their processing power will be merged too, giving rise to the sidechains. Now, these sidechains can process heavy loads of crypto processing, and when the processing is done, the results will be sent back to the mainnet of Ethereum.
This system is being developed by a company known as Optimism, and it will be ready within a month when beta testing is completed. According to the upgradation map for Ethereum, it has a new upgrade in place that goes by the name Berlin, and it is scheduled for April 14, and it will not have any rollups included within it. On the other hand, the London upgrade will be conducted in summer 2021.
Ethereum network has been running into some technical difficulties where it became unsustainable for it to process requests and carry on with further transactions, thus giving rise to network congestion. With the crypto market finally getting out of the massive financial tumble and things getting back to normal, it is important that this issue gets resolved as soon as possible as more and more traders are going to start trading in cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin and Ethereum is the next one after that.
