Dogecoin is one of the top meme coins, and it has now ranked among the top 10 crypto tokens on Binance in terms of the trading volume.

The data analytics from WhaleStats suggest that Dogecoin has become one of the most acquired cryptocurrencies among the whale digital currency wallets. These wallets are ranked as the 100 largest digital coin addresses hosted on Binance Chain.

It seems that during the latest market trend changes, BNB whales have continued to invest heavily in Doge.

In addition to Doge, the whales also seem to take a keen interest in other currencies like USDC, BabyDoge, ETH, BNB, and a few other cryptocurrencies. It is also worth noting that BNB whales collectively own $27.43 million worth of Dogecoin.

BNB Whales Own 1.94% of Dogecoin’s Token Supply

The data projections from IntoTheBlock suggest that the Dogecoin market value is appreciated by 53% within the ongoing month accounting for the massive acquisition. The token had been struggling to gain back its strength in the first quarter of the season with a 50% correction. WhaleStats also postulated that BNB whales own 1.94% of the total Doge circulatory supply collectively.

Keeping in view the increasing popularity of meme currencies, several businesses have decided to accept them as payment. Lavu is a restaurant and hospitality industry software development specialist that partnered with digital payments platform called Verifone.

The two companies are working on making meme currency payment options available for thousands of restaurants across 65 countries.

Many people face the issues concerning the forex exchange and setting aside a budget for converting their money wherever they go for a vacation or a business trip. However, two meme currencies, DOGE and Shiba Inu, are trying to solve this issue by becoming a mode of payment among thousands of restaurants.

The partnership between Lavu and Verifone will allow food centres and hospitality corners all around the world to enable payments with Doge or Shiba Inu tokens. The software will allow users to make their payments with the help of several digital payments platforms like PayPal, Alipay, Affirm, Venmo, WeChat Pay, and others.
